Student, Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Rawhiti Roa - Northland Region
"You can put everything into a whānau context with Enviroschools. The facilitators are there to awhi, support, and help by hooking you up with contacts in the regions and giving you a framework to work with. Enviroschools is a good way to connect with other rangatahi around the country. I might be in Whangarei, but from attending Enviroschools Youth Jams and other events I am able to connect with students from all over the country. Now I’ve got contacts in Auckland, Nelson, Tauranga and Dunedin, and we catch up and see what each other are up to. I am one of five students selected by UNICEF New Zealand to go to the Rangatahi Climate Forum in Copenhagen, in November. We are all a part of the Enviroschools whānau, which shows how Enviroschools has helped and supported many schools throughout NZ."
