Kaitiakitanga Kindergartens innovation, “Ripples of Kaitiakitanga: an Enviroschools Approach,” has been selected as one of the Top 100 education innovations worldwide in the HundrED Global Collection 2026. This recognition is a true honour and a celebration of the Enviroschools Kaupapa that guides their mahi, nurturing tamariki to be confident, connected guardians of the natural world.
Each year, HundrED identifies and amplifies the 100 most impactful and scalable innovations in education. From over 3,000 innovations reviewed by 253 education experts, only 100 are chosen. Kaitiaki Kindergartens proudly represents Aotearoa New Zealand on this global stage and to share the values of kaitiakitanga and sustainability in early childhood education with the world.
