Aorere Kindergarten journey to become Kai- Āwhina O Te Puna
A Curious Mind Fund provided an opportunity for kaiako and tamariki to deeply engage with the concept of Kai-Awhina O Te Puna, Waokauri Creek at Aorere Kindergarten, in collaboration with community experts and neighbouring Enviroschools. The entire learning context has provided rich opportunities for young tamariki to explore the natural environment and engage in scientific learning.
