The Auckland Sustainable Schools team had the privilege of visiting Konini School last week as they reflected on their mahi (work) and made the leap to becoming a Green-Gold Enviroschool – ka mau te wehi Konini!!

Composting paper towels, restoring the school ngahere (forest), raising chickens, growing kumara to make soup to celebrate Matariki with their community, understanding and sharing knowledge of their school pou and pepeha – these are just some of the amazing stories they shared with us!
